13 % below MSRP, is this real

I am being given a sweet deal, 13% below MSRP for a 2014 JKUR, almost fully loaded trim.

MSRP is 43,895
Drive out including ttl is 40,800
That's brings the price to 38, 100

I haven't seen the invoice price but assuming the invoice price is 2,500 less than the MSRP, they are giving me 7.7 % below invoice! the vehicle has like 170 miles on it.

Have you heard of such kind of deal, should I be very cautious on this one ?

Have they shown/given you a copy of the invoice? Have they provided a breakdown of all costs, fees. TTL, dealer prep in writing?

If this is an online/newspaper price, BE CAREFUL. There's fine print somewhere that says they've calculated that price using every discount/rebate available for that model vehicle. IF (and 99.9% of the time you won't) you don't qualify for EVERY rebate, they just start adding back to the price.

Make sure you have the total price, 'out the door' in writing and signed by the sales manager. It's also a REALLY smart idea to put down $100 on a credit card to lock the deal, once you have it signed. If the deal falls through and they won't refund your money, you can charge it back on your card.

its only 170... If it has been test driven a few times its easy to get to that. I was allowed to test drive over night and brought it back the next day after work and running around in it and I put 80 miles on one which already had 40. I wouldn't put much thought to it.
