13 rubicon with 38's

ARE THE DANA 44 ENOUGH FOR THE 38'S OR DO I NEED TO GO 60?
I WAS GOING TO ADD THE ARTEC ARMOR
JEEP WILL BE USED IN SAND NOT ROCKS IM IN FL

The axle itself will be plenty if you add those reinforcements. Here is a member who did it with 40's

You can do it, depends on how crazy you are wheeling! Unfortunately I tore out my rear axle and upgraded to a G2/Curry Rock Jock Dana 60 which is a mammoth. Up front I did the Artec Axle armor truss/gussets and chromoly axle shafts. I definitely don't think you have to jump straight to a Dana 60, but I'd definitely beef everything up!

Cool thnx, then will not bother to wait for the 14 .. They have a silver and or black rubicon on the lot.. Just want to make sure i was going to order an s model 14 and replace axles but would rather just get the rubicon and be done since i have an expensive trade ..

ahh yeah yours is pretty close to what i will do .. I was thinking about putting in the g2 chromolly axles, arctec kit, and reid knuckles.. Which might be as much as just going with the 60 lol .. I dunno
