2015 build site is up

I noticed yesterday it was up then taken down. But now it seems like its up for good. You can also locate 2015's in your area.

Looks like the people who got '15s with "Trailer Tow Group" lucked out! They're no longer offering it.

pricing is not up to date, at least in my build, it does not reflect the price increase from last month.

That's interesting. I ordered a 2015 back on 8-23 with the trailer tow group. The order went through but I haven't gotten my Jeep yet. Maybe I got one of the last trailer tow groups.

Well..... that certainly solidified my love affair with my baby sitting outside.
I just did a little build-e-poo and came up just shy of $50,000.00

Holy Crap, I'm gonna go give my 14' Granite crystal metallic sweetie a smootch

Does anyone know if it's accurate on the build page that the Sahara package no longer cones standard with a hardtop? It doesn't even show it coming with the premium soft top, just the black Sunrider top. Just curious...

Hardtop was never standard that I'm aware of.

Really?? Wow! Ok I just assumed that it was standard on the Sahara models. Both of mine had hard tops and I know it has to be Sahara to have the color matched option, so I assumed that it was the standard. Strange...

Trailer tow group is gone but it wasn't a good deal from what I remember. If you look at the options available you'll see some better deals can be put together.

Max Tow Package
$745 / $12 a month

3.73 Front / Rear Axle Ratios
A numerically lower axle ratio results in lower engine rpm and better fuel economy. A numerically higher ratio improves acceleration, climbing grades, carrying loads or pulling a trailer.
Class II Receiver Hitch
Trailer Tow with 4-Pin Connector Wiring
============================
3.73 Front / Rear Axle Ratios
$495 / $8 a month

When I bought my Jeep the trailer tow group was nothing more than a hitch and harness for the wiring. There were no gear changes or anything unless you upgraded to the Max Tow Package. At that time it was a good deal too. Now you could put together a better deal by piecing it together.

The difference between the Max Tow Package and the gears by themselves is $250. That's $250 for what - the hitch receiver and wiring.

Now look at what we have here -

$79.97 -- Quadratec Premium 2" Receiver Hitch with Wiring Kit & Jeep® Logo Plug
For 07-15 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK

Quadratec Premium 2" Receiver Hitch with Wiring Kit & Jeep® Logo Plug for 07-15 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec

$89.97 -- Quadratec Premium 2" Receiver Hitch with Wiring Kit & Jeep® Logo Plug
For 13-15 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK 10th Anniversary Rubicon & Rubicon X

Quadratec Exclusive 12015 1029 - Quadratec Premium 2" Receiver Hitch with Wiring Kit & Jeep® Logo Plug for 13-15 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK 10th Anniversary Rubicon & Rubicon X - Quadratec

So if I just opt for the gearing upgrade for $495 and then I buy the hitch receiver/wiring harness from Quadratec and spend about a hour in the driveway installing it, I could save just over $150 to use on other Jeep stuff.

I also just noticed there's some odd listings for the half door option. You can get it on the base, and the Willys, but not the Sport S. I only checked those three, but thought it was odd.

They seem to have fixed the glitch where you buy the 3.73 gears twice; max tow and Willys options and there was no adjustment.

I ordered mine w/o the max tow, just the willys with standard 3.73 gears and I'll add my own hitch.

Looks like my exact 2014 Rubicon Unlimited X configuration went up by $600 (i.e., the exact same Hard Rock configuration). Nice! Gotta love Jeep resale values!

You'll probably get the Max Tow package for no extra cost.

Be careful when you price out using the website, in my case, it's still reflecting "old" price for a JKU Willys, auto, dual tops. Website shows MSRP $34,675. While the latest ordering guide puts this build at MSRP of $35,025.00

Really wish you could search based on transmission, especially when looking for a manual...

That would be cool. I really don't need the 3.73 gears but I'll take it if it comes that way.

Bought my wife a 2014 Sahara Unlimited in March and I just ordered a 2015 Sahara 2 door in August. Neither had the hard tops standard.
