2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara Lift Option

So I've been doing a bunch of research on the different lift kit options. I was hoping to get some more experienced opinions on the matter.

ive always wanted to own a Jeep Wrangler and I'm working on purchasing one shortly.

This is going to be my daily commuter vehicle but I want the capabilities to have some fun off roading.

I'm looking for about a 3 inch lift with 35 inch tires.

So far I know that I don't want to get a long arm lift kit. They are way to pricey for my liking.

I also don't want to just get a body lift.

Basically I'm looking for something where I don't need too much modifications and it still gives me a softer ride.

The expert at Quadratec suggested a 3 inch budget boost with hydro shocks. Thoughts?

Sorry for the long drawn out post, any suggestions would be very helpful!

If you want to learn about lift kits for your Jeep watch this video

If you want a great ride and stock like handling and don't plan to wheel it much then just get the AEV 3.5/4.5 SC lift. It may be a bit overpriced for what you get (drop brackets vs replacement control arms) but like I said if you're just going to stay on the pavement then AEV is the way to go.

If you want actual ground clearance and more articulation without going long arm or coil over then I would look into Teraflex, Rock Krawler and BDS. All 3 make great stuff, I'm running a Teraflex 4" 8 arm adjustable kit on my 2015 2 door Rubicon with 37" tires and have plenty of clearance. Hope this helps you out. I'm sure there are lots of other opinions out there.
