2020 Daytona Beach Jeep Week

Anyone going to Jeep week in April? Just paid my registration but was wondering what other events that week are worth paying for. This will be my first time participating but I've watched the Jeeps up and down the beach all the other years.

I have never been. Bike week in Daytona is said to be the best in the country so I hope the same is true of their Jeep week.

Never been either so this will be my 1st. Waiting to see what the veterans say. Bike Week is so superior to all the others except Sturgis. Boy I miss my bike. Jeep is my new HD

Jeep Week / Daytona

Anyone out there that's ever been that can provide some insight? Looking to see what's worth it and whats not. I've watched the Jeepers up and down the beach every year - looking forward to participating for the first time.

Mid Fl Jeep Club puts on such a great time here!
Lots of things to do during the entire time. You can visit the Jeep Beach Week website to see everything that is going on. But just some things I can remember from last year are listed below. I know I am missing alot though.
Inside the Daytona Speedway there are a lot of Jeep vendors set up.
They also have multiple obstacle courses set up for your to take your jeep on. You can see a lot of this on you tube. They also have concerts in the evening inside the speedway.
They have poker runs throughout the week along with Jeep shows over on the boardwalk.
Main Street is another gathering place for everyone and vendors. And food vendors and food trucks all over.
The main event is on Sunday for the Jeep beach cruise. Everyone heads to the beach that day all day to cruise up and down on the beach and if you get there early enough to get a spot to park along the beach, its the best to just chill and watch the Jeep parade all day long. Look forward to another big year as each year it continues to grow and get better. I hope this helps.
See you in April!

I live in Ormond Beach Florida. Basically.. Daytona Beach Fl...I can tell you.. out of all of the "weeks" we have.. Jeep Week is not only tourists favorite week... but all of the locals as well. We are one of the only places in the US that allows you to drive on the beach.. during jeep week the beach is completely covered in every type of wrangler in every stage of alteration. It's awesome. A1A.. the road that goes north and south along the coast is packed with jeeps.. get your hotel reservations early. There are events.. tents.. parties all along the beach.. A1A ..and on land side.. along US 1. The run travels International Speedway Blvd to the beach.. it's a great ride.. especially at night surrounded by your jeep people.

What makes Jeepers different from a local perspective..personal perspective. Truck week.. i dont leave the house... is a bunch of drunk boys urinating on passing cars out of the bed and throwing beer cans at you if you show your disappointment in thier behavior. ... bike week..i dont leave the house.. they are also drunk .. feel entitled. You watch for bikers.. they dont need to watch for you. The cops are told not to pull over drunk driving bikers in fear they will run and cause harm to themselves.. while several accidents happen involving bikes in that one week. Spring break.. dont leave the house..

Jeep week is different. Jeepers show respect... they are polite.. you help the economy here and enjoy the scenery rather then destroy it. Just know.. we locals of Volusia County appreciate the Jeepers.. .. just dont drive on the dunes!😁 You will have a great time. Travel the scenic north ormond.. beach street north.. it will take you out to A1A at the beach.. and ride that back south!

Thanks for the information. Initially I was curios as to which events to register/participate in but I have to agree with - VW, bike, spring break vs Jeep week. I've owned ocean front timeshare in South Daytona Beach Shores since 81 and Jeep week has been the best to watch and I finally get to participate. I've witnessed mattresses being thrown from the balcony of the old Days Inn (now a Marriott) followed by every object in the room that wasn't bolted down during Spring Break to bikers laying their bikes down in the water/ocean.
