33" tires 2" lift and Flat flares?

Fellow Jeepers,

I am considering putting flat flares on my Jeep but I haven't seen a Jeep with 33 inch tires and a two inch lift with flats. I have seen Jeeps with that setup on 35's and I love the way it looks.. Would installing flats make my tires look small? Pics please.

Is an acuall 2" lift? I ask because some 2" lift acually net more than 2 " and that may make the tires look small. But I don't think flats and 2" acuall lift and 33,s would look bad? I'd like to see some pics too, I'm thinking of doing the same thing with 34" tires, 295x70x17

I think it would make the tires look tiny.... JMO of course.. We have 315's on 2.5" BB with flatties, lots of space there....

i went through the same debate a few weeks ago and ultimately decided to stick with the stock flares and hold off on the flatties. I have a 2.5 lift with 33s and decided it would make them look a bit small on my JKU.

Check before you buy. I don't think you can install Bushwacker flatties w/the Drake hood hold downs.

That is such a sick jeep!!!!

What's the lift difference between a bb lift like yours and the AEV spacers? Any actual height or drive characteristics differences?

Thanks for the pics and advice guys and girl! I would want to re-gear to run 35's so that's not an option for me right now but Inferno Girl.. Your husbands Jeep looks exactly how I want mine to look when I'm finished, except I am going to run Ballistic wheels. To be honest the whole reason for this post was me wanting to make mine one step closer to yours ; ) I don't mean to copy I just love the overall stance of yours.

Nice Jeep!. are these 33x11.5 wheels.. - I just put a 2" lift on my Jeep , so far just stock tires,wheels - and thinking about 33's x 11.5 x 17 or 18" wheels
Might go with 35's now and possibly a 1.25"RC BD or change to a 2.5" suspension lift.

I planned on putting new gears(4.88 auto) on this winter anyway, never really thought about 35's until seeing yours..

I have 17x9's with 33x12.5 procomp mts. I like that combo because I dont have to worry about curb checking my wheels or scuffing them on rocks as much as I would with 11.5's
