Angry Bird / Wild Boar Grille Question

I'm looking to be adding one of these to my Jeep pretty soon. Can anyone who has one of these grilles installed answer this question for me---are the 7 grille slots the same length/width as the 7 slots on the OEM grille? I have grille inserts on my current grille and didn't know if they would be able to be transferred over to the new grille.

Thanks!

No they are not.

I have an angrybird grille sitting in my garage....it has been there for months. I have not tried to install it because:
a) I sometimes wonder why I purchased it in the first place.
b) Hard to find time.
c) I know my Rugged Ridge mesh grill won't cleanly fit without some type of modification.

I had some grand plan that seemed a lot cooler in my head while drinking a few beers.

The way my light bar sits, it already has a bit of a growl to it.

It was "going" to be the Carbon Fiber-like Angrybird grille. I was going to plasti-dip everything except that top/brow part in the inner grill slots so that it was flat black with carbon accents.

On the bottom side of the "brow" is was going to be two LED strips attached, wired to a 3 way switch. That way I could "illuminate" the brow at night.

I wanted angel eyes/halos as well (also wired to a 3 way switch).

I also looked at the very rare carbon fiber-ish headlight cover for the JK. I'm not a fan of headlight covers, but the carbon fiber look (instead of smoked) was kinda cool.

Coupled with my 20" LED light bar mounted to the BOTTOM side of the bar (that I still have not installed, but I at least got the parts I need to mount it to the bar)....the Jeep was going to have a bit of a natural scowl.

I also wanted rock lighting via LED strips and a single cube in the rear for a reverse/get off my ass light.

The result was going to be an really evil looking Wrangler when halos and LED's on the brow were lit up. Even more so when the light bar was turned on.

But, once the reality of dealing with all of the junk set in....along with finding out what would fit and what would not, I just lost interest. (I think that is called being sober)

I'm not a fan of doing any mod that makes my vehicle PERFORM worse, and the headlights suck enough as the are...so out went the headlight covers (plus they probably won't fit with the grille). Then it hit me that the mesh grill guard won't fit.....so my angrybird grille will probably end up on my wall at some point next to the Libby grille.
