Another regearing post

I have 3.21 gears in my 12 jk. Wanna run with 33" duratracs and I commute 60 miles everyday on the highway. Do I need to regear? I'm getting decent mpg, I'm expecting a little drop and that's fine. But I don't want it to be going in and out of overdrive at 60 mph

You won't need a regear. I ran 33x12.50 DuraTracs with 3.21's an got 17-19mpg mostly city driving an there was no problem with the get up an go when needed

Doubt it seriously. With 33's you really should have no problem with weight an rolling resistance with the 3.6 engine. I am surrounded by mountains here in va an have a lot of hilly terrain an had no problem gettin around with 3.21's an 33's or on the interstate at 70mph. But your best bet is to get the tires/wheels an see for yourself then if you think you need a regear get one
