Any way to have only Nav on?

Trying to find out how to turn off the stereo and only have voice guidance on. Turning the volume down turns the voice directions down too. Pushing the off button turns everything off. Any way to do this?

Have you tried setting input to auxiliary and not plugging anything in? This should give you no background audio but still allow voice directions. I haven't tried this, so I'm not positive it will work.

Turning down the radio volume will not affect the nav voice volume unless you try to do it while the nav is speaking.

I'll try turning it down while it's not talking next time I use the nav. Thanks guys.

Yup, this works. THanks.

Sadly, I think I will only use nav for long trips. Google on my phone is so much easier since you can just say the name of the business/store/restaurant etc..
