Anyone going to Cliffs Offroad this weekend?

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone is going to Cliffs Offroad this weekend? If so let me know maybe we can get a small group together.

I would love to, but it isn't gonna happen this weekend. I'm about 2 hrs west of there. Going to see if I can't find some other Jeeps around my area and head there in another week or two. Let us know how it was!

Assuming you mean Cliffs Insane Terrain. I'd suggest posting in the Illinois sub-forum.

I am still debating it rained a lot and I do not have winch.

Thank you for letting me know that. I did not know that sub-forum existed.

Glad to help. Was there yesterday and it was a mess. I didn't get stuck but most in my crew did.

Honestly, I wouldn't go there without 50% of my crew having winches if it has rained recently. That park is very unforgiving with slippery clay/mud combo.

Cliffs is the first place I have ever gone off-roading. I took my Dad's new freedom wrangler with street tires after a few days of rain. stuck to trail 1 and was with another 2 newbs. I was proud of myself because I was the only one who didn’t get stuck. I actually had to pull everyone out with a tow strap.

P.S. My Dad is still pissed about his wrangler.
