Thank you all for the comments. I appologize for not being very responsive. To add a few details on this build. I have to admit that this jeep was not originally an Arctic. It was a flood and needed a new instrument cluster. I ended up with an Arctic edition instrument cluster and then added to that from there. This is a 2012 JK manual sport. I have layed the windshield back cut off the stock cage and added a sport cage. There is no lift, only added Rubicon shocks. There was major trimming of the wheel wells becasue those are 37" tires. The fenders are also custom made to be high clearance but look somewhat stock. The tailgate is a blend of the 2012 tailgate and an old CJ tailgate. The front a rear bumpers are riverraider offroad. If there are people interested I can move my build thread onto wranglerforum.com. The majority of this build was in the drivaway. I did 95% of the work myself, just about everythgin other than the line-x/paint job.

I need help with a seat tear.

I have a tear on driver seat that was fixed by previous owner with some type of sealant. The tear is coming back and curious if anyone has any ideas how to fix. It is in a high contact area. I was planning on checking with dealer and a local upholstery shop. My main concern is matching the material that was used in Arctic seats. I was hoping this material was more durable than leather...who knows maybe it was punctured instead of wear and tear.

Is it right off the left hip/buttock area? I have a slit forming there. Never sealed it and it got worse. Not horrible but I feel like my only option down the line is to replace it and lose the badging. Not the end of the world but I kind of liked the seats

Yep. Mine split at the seam on the left side towards the front where it is stitched to the front panel. I had the warranty cover it the first time. Now it's out of warranty and did it again. I know that we can order the cover, and they aren't that hard to replace.

Mine is on left hip/butt area too. I will attach a pic when I get back from being out of town. I really thought that material would be more durable, but 3 of us have a tear. I have the lifetime warranty maybe that will work in this case?

Strange, I also have a tear in the same spot as the one from your photo. Mine isn't as bad as yours though

Looks like great minds think alike - I put the white bumper appliques on my white Arctic when I had it.

(Unless that's my former Jeep, by chance.)

I bought it like this. Previous owner was named Kevin I think. I forget what state he lived in.

Mine is doing the same thing as yours and everyone else. I already replaced the seat once while under warranty. Now the rip is back and getting worse.

I wonder if contacting jeeps' corporate office would do any good? I am vacation this week so calling them will give me something to do. One of the many reasons I wanted an Arctic was the seat material because I thought it would be more durable than leather.

Same! Thought it would be a great cross between cloth and leather.

I do like the material. What does everyone use to protect it. I usually just wipe the dust off it and hit it with some cleaner protection stuff. (Not armorall).

Hey Lax00, how's the linex paint job holding up? Any issues? I'm thinking of painting my jeep with it also.
