Aries SECURITY CARGO LID or custom sub box

I have a JL Audio 12w1 and before summer hits I am looking for some way to keep it from getting stolen when parked with the top down. Right now the sub is mounted in a truck box I had laying around and sounds great, but with it fastened with metal strap to child car seat loop in back i fill that someone could come by and rip it out in seconds . With that said I am looking at getting a custom box built that will be bolted in or getting a cargo lid both are around the same price. This is my first jeep so I am looking for advice on which rout would be the best. Thanks in advance!!

That's a tough call. I had the Kicker sub- at $650 I didn't want it stolen. Aries site seems to be down- my question is will it rattle? Is it latched with metal? I have a JK; not a JKU so I don't know what the set-up is in the back. But I'd lean more towards building the box with a custom (lockable) bracket for the hooks on the floor; or one that locks into the seat. Ie: the Kicker sub latches into the rear seat hooks. We drilled a hole into their bracket and run a serious bike lock. No- its not perfect. But getting to the lock isn't easy- and getting the seat forward and the sub un-locked from the seat hooks isn't easy either. My truck sub was ripped out from the interior with a crow bar- so if they want it....
