Bad lands offroad park in

I am thinking about going to badlands offroad park next month. It says you have to buy a flag. How do you mount the flag? Do I need to drill a hole in bumper? It is a stock plastic bumper. any info. Also how is this park? I have a mall crawler. I have been to big rock in ky (closed now) and Durty turtle. Stay on main trails.

Thanks

Buy one of these, or something similar:

https://www.quadratec.com/products/13008_1110.htm

Make sure you get one with two holes at the top in case you add a cb antenna later.

You'll do well at Badlands, plenty of fun there for a stock Jeep.

I haven't in years, but now that I have mine on Wrangler I want to. I don't really have need crazy mods just rock sliders, rubi shocks and rubi rims and tires. The flag you can buy there , but I'm sure how it would get mounted on a JKU.

They sell them inside. Just get one that is attached to the window, just like people use to show the favorite sports team. $13 I believe.

I drilled a hole in my stock spare tire carrier and bungeed it to my 3rd brake light to keep it from flopping into the top

cool....I've never been there, I just know that some parks require a big, dumb looking thing that flops around. I guess if it's hilly they can prevent a head on

Some parks also require they be mounted to the front of the vehicle as well. I prefer buying the park if they are priced ok and all, sometimes looking up park by park requirements gets old.

My cb bracket has 2 holes so I use 1 for the flag and 1 for the antenna. My first trip to badlands I didn't bring wrenches so I zip tied it to the spare tire, it held all day including the trip home at 70mph.

You can zip tie it to the rear gate door handle.

Badlands sells 2 types of flags, and I think they are priced $15 and $20.

I have a pretty well stock JK with an aftermarket bumper and Duratacs being really the only "mods" from stock.

I went back in February and had a great time, didn't get stuck, and didn't damage anything. I'm hoping to go back again soon.

Thanks for the response. That bracket looks good. But if they have flags that mount to the window Might go that way. going the end of may holiday weekend.
I have a two inch lift, duratacs. lots of miles on them. jrc Front bumper with a winch. Just for looks.

If anyone goes the holiday weekend. I have a jku Deep sea blue with helicopters above the sport sticker and trail badge. Say hi. Hope I can make it.

Do you have lights on the bullbar? If not you can mount the flag there.
