I think it weights 79 Lbs. Not sure how much the stock bumper weights, but I bet you'd be adding only 20 Lbs which won't make much of a difference.

The front stock bumper with all the goodies attached comes in at about 37 lbs. so he'd be adding over 40 lbs which would probably be corrected with a 1/2" spacer.

Which bumper? Their Trail Force HD bumpers or tubular bumpers?

Trail Force HD.

Running the Maximus-3 hoop on factory bumper which probably weighs 20 pounds and there's no sag. May try to put a 20 pound dumbbell on bumper and see if I notice anything.

It's a solid bumper. The powder coating on the barricade products are not the greatest, but the bumper looks good with the stock flares. I have RK springs and the front end has sagged the slightest bit from the bumper and winch but still looks great. It depends on what your lift is rated. RK 2.5" lifts are designed to sit at 2.5" on a fully loaded jeep. Jeeps without the extra weight get a little extra height.

Do you have the performance leveling kit with the springs? Or the coil spring spacer leveling kit? If it's the spacers, it would depend on the factory spring rate that you have.

One way to see what kind of sag you'll have is to the add the additional weight to the front of the rig in the form of sand bags or whatever you have laying around, and see what it does to the ride height. Let me know if you have any questions or if you decide to order!

I'm interested in this bumper also. Is there a front skid plate that can be purchased with this bumper?

I think this bumper is great. I have an engo 10k winch and with the weight of the bumper and winch my front went down roughly 3/4th. But, majority of the weight was from the winch. I have now installed the Barricade back bumper w/tire carrier as well. That was about 155 pounds to my back. It looks somewhat even now, maybe front 1/2 lower, and now debating on putting some pucks to get it up a little bit. Do not want to do a lift until I do the 35 inch tires.

ANYWAYS, great bumper and will last me quite a long time.

yes there is, I am about to order the skidplate, its a Barricade product as well .
I do have the Bumper already and it did sag a bit down, after my 3 inch leveling kit up front but not too much. Bumper was 71 lbs when it was delivered.

Thanks guys for the skid plate info. I looked a couple months ago and did not see the skid plate on the extreme terrain website. Looks nice, wonder how much it weighs?

I have the Barricade Bumper and the 12k Barricade Winch and I love it! With both the bumper and winch added, it put a little weight on the front of my 3 inch lift. However, I supplemented the extra weight with a 3/4 inch pucks up front. Extreme Terrain took care of any and all issues promptly! Good job XT!

Put on this bumper last night. It was a breeze to install without even having any instructions in the box.

A few comments:
- the corners were chipped I'm assuming from shipping which I'm not too happy about;
- I didn't realize from the website that there were light tabs (which I did not want);
- My driver side fog light wiring does not reach and I couldn't get it to stretch anymore;
- Not sure about ordering the Barricade skid plate (probably does finish off the look though);

Otherwise I really like the look and will monitor to see if the front sags at all.

Bam073, from what I understand, if you cut the wiring loom, not the wires, just the wiring loom surrounding the wires, the fog lights will reach. Once they reach just add more wiring loom or wrap with electrical tape.

I installed the HD bumper about two months ago along with a winch and have no noticeable sag. The nose dips more than it used when I'm on the brakes, though. There's no definite answer until you do it though, Jeep used different spring rates based on how the vehicle sat in the factory, so there's variability from one Jeep to the next.

Edit: Ok, you already installed it, haha.

Yeah, you don't need to cut any wires. You only need a couple extra inches which can be freed up by trimming the wiring loom a little bit.

Yea, I had the same shipping issues, a good brand of spray paint later and I havent seen any rust.

You do have to cut the fog light wire wrap.

The tabs will grind right off, they are pretty distinct in the picture, so I added a 21" led light bar when I ordered. Looks great now.

It looks like they weigh around 38 lbs. Let me know if you'd like any other info on the skid plates!

Thanks everyone for responding. In reading my post it sounds like a negative experience and it really isn't. Really like the look of the bumper over the factory bumper. A light bar will fix my light tab issue and if I cut the wire loom like everyone suggests that takes care of that issue.

What's the next mod????

Ryan, how does the skid plate attach to the jeep? From the pics on your website, looks like the bumper has to be off before the skid plate can go on, is that correct?

Also, I sent you a PM a week ago about a price quote for the bumper and skid plate. Did it get missed?

I was looking at the Hanson skip plate and like the looks of it.
I like the Extreme Terrain (Barricade) better for the fact it's made from Stainless Steel, as opposed to the Hanson which is regular steel I believe.
