Base Sport Wheels on a Ford Ranger?

Does anyone know if base Sport wheels will fit a stock 1997 Ford Ranger? I just got a JK and am planning on upgrading to some Duratracs and have an uncle with a Ranger that could use tires. I did some research and seem to be getting some folks saying base JK wheels can bolt right onto a Ranger and others saying it will not work. I know the tires will work, but I am trying to avoid him needing to get the tires mounted and balanced.

Thanks guy,

Wes

I'm thinking my 2000 Ranger was 5x4.5", but I could be wrong.

I mean, you could always get adapters, I guess.

I didn't know if there was some sort of issue with the hub sizes. It isn't a big deal, just trying to save him some time and money.

The Ford Ranger shares its wheel bolt pattern with the Jeep Wrangler TJ(and XJ), not the JK.

Ranger and TJ = 5x4.5 bolt pattern

JK = 5x5 bolt pattern
