Best Marine Speaker setup for $2000

Based on the information i was given, Marine Speakers are the best on the market for when the jeep is topless, any suggestions on Sub, Sound bar, Dash & Tweeters + Amp set up? For Jku'15. Alpines also installed.

BTW your biggest issue is not waterproofing your stereo, its making sure you dont get water over your steering wheel and flood the clock spring

Keep what you have (including the $2,000) buy a "bikini top" or a tarp for $9.
Bikini Top is for moving, tarp for not - either way. You're good.

Water isn't the boogie man that it gets made out to be. As mentioned, don't soak your clock spring or you'll be the Coyote and the RoadRunner will run right by you.

Really thought that "Clock Spring" was like blinker fluid until I googled it!

I would be worried about having $2k worth of speakers in a vehicle that was always without doors and a roof.

Search on here about the cheap speaker upgrade and sub upgrades available for yours. I haven't looked in a while but by now I am sure that people have found good options for the 2015 systems. On the 14's RubiconSS and Pressurized have some excellent options that retain the factory look, don't break the bank, and sound good. I've been happy with what they recommended and will swapping my factory sub out soon.

As I have discovered, the head unit really is a huge limiting factor in sound. I am still kicking the idea around of replacing it but I really want to keep it looking stock. There are some options out there that look stock but perform at a very high level, but they are all over $1000.

Save your money for more bikinis and get a decent set of speakers. $2k is gonna be overkill in a Wrangler and I wouldn't drop that much coin on speakers when there is zero security with a soft top.

WOW a budget of 2K for sounds... on a jeep. That's 35' rims and tire pricing The best sound system in a topless Jeep is a pair of $2.62 Walmart ear buds

Have you checked out the Alpine system yet with the top off (the Jeep's )? I would give that a shot to see if you like it first. Then you can decide if you need to upgrade the components. Really the head unit is the only part that leaves a bit to be desired. There are quite a few aftermarket options depending on the features you want.
