1 owner clean car fax but 70k miles is a lot for a 3 year old vehicle. It’s a 4 door hard top auto and listed for 21k. Pretty fair compared to what I have been looking at. I’m upside down in my current f150 and I’ve been trying to look at 6-8 year old jeeps but problem is they have higher interest rates and typically banks want cash down. I can get into a newer Jeep with higher miles for a good price but also a good much better interest rate and monthly payment. Main question is should I be concerned about that many highway miles on a 3 year old car?. Thanks for any help !
My 16 JK was 3 years old with 55,000 miles on it when I bought it June 2019. I traded in my 17 Ram Hemi with 33,000 miles on it for the JKU. I looked it over thoroughly, axle seals, looked around oil cooler, checked rad. I was happy after test drive, so I pulled the trigger.
The trans dipstick is under the engine cover, pull it and check the fluid out.
Are you buying from a dealer? It will be saftied when you buy, correct?

If it looks good and has a solid feel to it on the road, all fluids look good and no leaks that could be detected, I wouldn't worry about it. Have it checked by a trusted mechanic if possible. I just purchased a 2018 with 64,000 on it.

Chasing debt with debt. Pay down the truck until you have some equity, then consider trading. Jeeps will be around for purchasing for years. Just my two cents
In 2018 I bought my 2010 with 37,000 miles for around 18K. Based on mileage, age and condition I was pretty happy. Frame was good but I have applied interior frame spray as that seems to be one of Jeeps weak links.
Still 4 months away from having my 2017 for 3 years. 72k miles and performs just as it did when I drove it off the lot. Well, minus the transmission rebuild at 62k miles. I think it was a fluke but runs solid now.
Miles are something you cannot replace and they unfortunately do affect your resale value down the road. That being said if you're not worried about resale at this point that's a pretty good deal for a 2017 just know down the road it might come back to haunt you,but if you're not worried about that or plan on keeping it then it's a good deal.
I paid book for my JKUR10A but in my mind it was worth it I have no plans of selling her anytime soon.
Just don't settle to settle if you understand what I'm trying to say.
There are to many great choices. Just get the one you really want and you won't have regrets.

Getting out of the hole you are in by transferring it to another loan? I'm sure you'll be upside down on the Jeep loan soon too. What are you going to do then?
I picked up my 17' JKU a couple of weeks ago at dealer for 24k .Has 33,000 on it but I added another 2500 for extended warranties and peace of mind. Good luck.
