Hello Everyone,
I'm in the market for a new 2017 or 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited Rubicon. I've spent hours online and prices are all over the board. My requirements are:

-Hard top
-Tow package
-Uconnect
-Heated seats

The rest of the options fall in the nice-to-have category. As I intend to have dealer install MOPAR lift and upgrade gear ratio to 4.88 (for 35" tires) upgraded gear ratio is not a requirement. Going to put seat covers on, so leather seats not necessary, etc..

Have any of you bought recently? Any thoughts on lowest price one might pay for such a vehicle. Prices vary so much (all things equal) that I thought some of you may have some thoughts on what to pay. Disclosure I live in California and wish to buy from a California dealer (preferably NORCAL).

Many thanks for any info you might share,

I ordered my JKUR and it had an MSRP of $45K. I paid $39K. I thought I got a great deal but others are getting $3K off of that. Mine is a manual hardtop with leather, Alpine stereo, nav, connectivity, tow package, auto temp controls and side airbags.

Thanks Raqball and everyone who weighed in on this thread...

I pulled the trigger. Tomorrow I'm picking up a new 2018 JKU Rubicon fully loaded less a tow package--has everything. MSRP is 47K, I paid 39K (full tank of gas, future full detail at time of my choosing). I found the vehicle through this thread, so thank you to everyone who took the time to offer advice and share information. I also went with the Mopar 4" lift, which will be installed by 4 Wheel Parts in Oakland on Tuesday along with new 35" BF Goodrich KO2 tires (keeping original wheels). Looking forward to entering the Jeep world!

If anyone is looking for new stock tires let me know--I'll make you a deal ;-)
