Keyhole Covers

Instead of Plasti-Dipping my keyholes, I just bought three hole plugs from Home Depot and plasti-dipped those. I used double-sided tape to fasten 'em. They look like door handle buttons.

Tomorrow I've got smoked LED's for the turn signals, fender signals and fog lamps.

I am loving these ideas. My jeep has an estimated delivery of 10/25-10/31. I have already ordered my Antennax. Also have plasti dip waiting.

Placed mine on the rear bumper. Helps to keep the tail-gaters off my rear.

Painted my muffler today. One of the easiest mods and is a great improvement! Got rid of the trash can under the jeep. I just lightly sanded with 220 grit and used painters tape/newspaper to cover up the essential stuff. Then just sprayed away with high temp flat black paint. You can't even see the muffler anymore. Love it.

Cheap mod

This weekend I painted door sills with truck bed liner. The paint was worn away and saw some on Internet but didn't cover very outside edged. So taped them off, sanded, primed and three coats of bed liner. Came out great. Even went down an 1/8 inch on rocker.

Here's a picture, think in spring I will continue down in middle and also do rockers and pinch weld.

Great idea! I have been wanting to move mine but I didn't know where I wanted to put it - I originally thought tailgate but that area is already kind of busy between the handle, key hole, light, bumper, tire, and a decal.

Had a problem with the hardtop rattling when the freedom panels are off. The rubber bumper on the hardtop is pulled tight to the sound bar when the panels are on. On the 2 dr, there are no upper screws for the hard to to secure it. The dealer said that there was no known fix and any mod to the length of the rubber bumpers may result in the freedom panels not sealing properly. He told me to contact Chrysler and complain so that maybe they will find a solution.

Here is my fix:

I used pipe insulation. I cut a piece lengthwise and rolled it upon itself. Looks natural, fits snug, and compresses easily so it shouldn't interfere with the sealing of the freedom panels. Best of all, no rattle!

Cost: $0 (leftover insulation from french fry mod)

Now you cannot see it from either side.

They sell those badges if someone wants to add one to the passenger side.

Sorry for the delayed reply - I had a bag of a dozen balls, so I had plenty to fool around with. Took a drill with the largest bit I had, and drilled about halfway through the ball. I'd check little by little to see when it was able to have the proper diameter. Stuck it on there, and it still holds up today.

But I can see the top edge of it if I look real hard when I am driving!
Or I have increased the chance that you may see it if I am turning in front of you! or when I am behind you!
I also took off the "wrangler" and "unlimited" stickers, might replace them with something down the road. My old TJ sport went through the same thing when I first got it!

I took my "Wrangler Unlimited" decals off too. I'm putting these distressed flags where the old decals were. PS. I have tank too

How about getting someone to custom make you a set of AD/DC Rosie decals

I did the grill mod this weekend. A little spray paint and I'm really pleased at how it turned out.

Not sure, but in the pictures that looks like a pretty thick coating of bedliner. What brand, and was it spray on or brush on?
