Clear side lens question.

Been doing some lighting upgrades recently and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I could run a white bulb with a clear lens on the sides of the fenders. Or does it have to be amber?

I believe it depends on your state.

When I changed mine I looked up the MO law and it states Amber or clear.

I went with clear with a Amber bulb though.

I thought the front side markers had to reflect in amber.

I know on replacements for Mustangs, they have an overall clear lens, but still a small reflective part in amber.

side markers do not need to reflect amber. they just need to blink amber in my state at least. may folks get chromed bulbs that light up amber. they're cheap.

Yes, by law they need to blink amber.

I installed these and they blink amber, very happy with the results:

Your sidemarkers blinked without/before any mods?

I should clarify, they don't actually blink, the light up when you turn on the lights halfway, without fully turning on the headlights, I forgot the name of this term... city/park lights?....LOL!
You are correct, there is a separate mod to tie them into the actual turn signal blinkers, but I have not done that...
