Clunk from 2010 front end normal?

One of the negatives of buying used is figuring out if noises are normal or not.
That being said, when I hit fairly sizeable bumps, I get a clunking sound from the front end (may be back, too, but can't tell for sure). Is this a product of a solid front axle? Everything functions perfectly, and it only happens with big bumps, like railroad ties, etc.

Thanks!

How many miles? You have any warranty?

Mine clunked and it turned out to be a lose
fender flare. But have someone turn the steering wheel back and worth while you look underneath for loose suspension components.

K, thanks everyone. I'll have it checked when at the dealer next.

BTW, only 15k so still under warranty.
