console lockbox question

So I decided on the console lock box for the door-less season because they don't make one for under the seat for the newer 2 doors. My question is the Tuffy says you can still access the power/ usb ports, but the bestop one does not mention this. Does anyone have the Bestop that can confirm you can still use the ports?

I just got a Bestop console lock box for my 2016 JKUHR. The box had cut outs for both the 12 volt plug and the usb port. However the usb port cut out did not line up correctly with the port. Half of the port was covered. I phoned Bestop and the customer service guy said that I must have a defective one. I called Quadratec (where I bought the box) and they are sending me a new one. We will see if the cut outs line up correctly on this one.
The Tuffy box looks like it has a pass through for a cord to be extended outside of the box when the console lid is down. The Bestop does not. I am going to cut a little groove in the corner of the lid on mine for this. The Bestop does leave the little factory tray under the console lid intact and usable. The Tuffy requires removal of this tray. I also think that the Tuffy box is a little taller.

I have the Bestop box and they forgot to cut a notch for a cable to pass through the box when the lid is shut. I fixed this problem by routing the cable through the USB cutout between the console box and the front of the plastic console itself. It's a tight fit but it works.

I have the Tuffy. It fits really well. You can close the lid, and pass a line through it. You can also remove the key with out locking it. The only complaint I have is that the hole for the USB outlet DOES NOT line up with the outlet. I decided not to go through the hassle of sending it back. I used a Dremel to enlarge the opening. That in and of itself would have been no biggie... Except, there's a little flanged plate shelf tack welded at the top of the passenger side of the box. Where it attaches to the forward side of the box is right in way of where the USB hole SHOULD be. I had to remove the little shelf in order to make the hole bigger. I was a little peeved, but like I said it would have been a pain to send back. Not really complaining because I no one MADE me keep it. I plan to get the full half console eventually anyhow. I got this as a quick fix right after I bought the Jeep for keeping my important Jeep papers more than anything... Not sure what year the USB port location changed in our vehicles, but you'd think they'd know better.
