Question Convert a manual door to keyless entry

This may be a silly question, but I'll ask it anyway.

Are there any kits that would convert door with a manual lock and unlock to one with keyless entry? I'd just be looking to convert the driver's side door for every day convenience.

Thanks in advance,
Andrew

Yes I did mine in 2012 and have since done 2 more. I wish I had made a video but didn't. A little advice don't buy the cheap kit and don't use the plug that come with the good kit. This is the kit to use--http://www.a1electric.com/mes.htm
And attach with rods to the latch and lock direct.

Thank you for the leads. Next time I'll try and avoid the insult thrown at the end of the LMGTFY tool by remembering to do a little looking first and then (if something is found) ask for experienced recommendations on manufacturers and models.

That said, seeing that there are indeed a variety of conversion kits available, has anyone had experience with these units and can provide recommendations on manufacturers, makes, models, do's, don'ts, etc.? If so, your guidance will be appreciated. The cost doesn't seem to be too prohibitive and coupling the lock/unlock feature with remote start would be pretty handy.

Thanks in advance,
Andrew

UPDATE:

DUBnBUD and mcgee10, it looks like our posts crossed. Thank you for the input.

OP only asked if there where any kits, not advice. The link I posted give several options on kits plus YouTube vids on install. I could of just posted one link on a single kit. All of this took 10 seconds on Google. No insult was intended. What help did you provide to this thread btw.
Also here is a link to a write-up found thru this forum .

Thumbs up

Absolutely, yes, in this case I was in a hurry and made a couple quick posts without really thinking it through. I confess I didn't perform my normal diligence in trying to check on my own first. Guilty as charged :-) It happens sometimes.

And just to clarify, I was specific in saying the insult thrown at the end by the "LMGTFY tool". I do my best not to assume the poster's intent. When I'm on a forum where I have experience and expertise I simply avoid use of that tool, even when the question has been asked on the forum a zillion times or is easily searched, as the tool comes across as demeaning. Instead I suggest a few search strings that can be tried and then ask the OP if they need anything clarified to post back again. Sometimes a noob just has no idea what to search for (although in this case it was easy).

I do thank you all for the references. I really did not anticipate that it would be that easy. For some reason I thought it was a bizarre request and everyone would be wondering what world I lived on.

Thanks again,
Andrew
