Cooper 295/70R17 No Spacers, 2-1/2" Lift???

Can I run this Cooper STT Pro tire without spacers on my 2017 JK Recon with a 2-1/2" lift?..... This tire size will fit onto a 7.5" stock rim....

LT295/70R17 E Rated RWL 12" section width, 33.46" height, 9.69" contact....

can you? sure will you rub? yes. I would run spacers. you will most likely rub at full lock especially when flexed and you will be really close at the rear lower control arm and swaybar links. I ran that size on my recon when I first got it but did not keep them long as I like a little taller tire.

my buddy had those exact tires on his on stock rims with 1.5" spacers. he did not like the tires as he said they were too loud. I know most people love them but he ended up getting some ST Maxx's after one long road trip.

I had no issues running spidertrax spacers I like the recon rims but if going 315 I would get wider rims. I love my 315's on my salta rims. I have kept my recon rims and spacers and am looking to put a set of 255/80-17's on them for kicks.

I'm running 295/70r17 STT Pro. Wheels are 17x9 4.75. Rancho 2" gave me 2.5 in the front 2.5 left/2 right in the rear. I ran the wheels/tires a bit before I lifted and they rubbed on the airdam, so I just removed it. I have not experienced any rubbing post lift (still no airdam). I expect the lift to drop a little more once I've added bumpers and armor.

I would say your lift is more than enough, but you'll definitely need spacers to run stock wheels. The tires appear wider than the number would indicate. Noticeably wider than the 285 KO2s on my buddy's JLUR.

As far as the tires themselves, I love them. They've worked like a champ so far on Florida trails' mud and sand. The do drone a little on the highway.

Pics are most recent and also pre lift. It's been lifted now for a year, ~7000 miles.

Sorry to jump in here. Did you relocate the 3rd brake light yourself, or is that an aftermarket bracket to move it?
