I believe they're these brake lines. They were included in the lift kit we purchased for the Jeep so i'm not positive.

1. The brake hoses are the same length as the OE 11/17 JK Hoses so it will either limit droop or your brakes will be very sad in short order.

2. Most people that will purchase the BBK have oversized tires (and a lift kit). Most lifted JK's have aftermarket stainless steel brake lines. When we installed our BBK on our 2015 JK we used the Crown Performance (different company like Quadratec stated prior) brake lines that were included in the lift kit we used and didn't run into any fitment issues. See the image below for the orientation of our brake hoses.

I'd like to hear of anyone that's had an issue with our BBK. Please e-mail me at [email protected]

Best Regards,

Sent you an email. I️ wasnít able to mount the stock lines, crown lines, or metalcloak likes the way you did. The flat on the caliper would needed to be a millimeter or 2 wider. The interference is between the red edge on the line and blue edge on the caliper in this pic:

This is how my line is orientated:

Havenít figured out a solution yet.

Just my normal bad luck.
The dealer has one and I don?t want to wait for the supplier to send one (not even sure when they could get it to me).

Missing, wrong & broken parts seem to be fairly common with the Mopar BBK. Initially the kits came with the wrong rotors. My first master/booster kit came with a reservoir that had the electrical pug broken off and no cap. Bummer!

Sorry to keep bringing up the MOPAR on this thread, but it's possible you no longer need the Wilwood for the manual? See the attached parts list. 68048758aa looks like the MOPAR reservoir. My installer was puzzled by my inclusion of the Wilwood one.

You will need the wilwood for the manual. The Mopar BBK doesnít have the nipple like the teraflex/crown master cylinder. Itís made for an auto.

This is my Mopar master cylinder upgrade. No nipple to feed the clutch unlike the others I mentioned.

Also, there is a specific mopar reservoir for the manual ... I forgot the part number but its over 100 bucks, hence the recommendation of the wilwoods for all manual owners w/ the upgraded mopar master cylinder.

Awesome. Thanks for the pictures. I think this might be the first time my installer has installed this on a manual. I sent photos and links to him, so hopefully all will go smoothly.

I hope to have a couple days driving with just the MOPAR on front before the Teraflex is installed in the rear. If I notice anything, I will report back.

Hey all, I have been following this thread regarding my own big brake upgrade that I did and I was looking for the Mopar Master Cylinder/Brake Booster (P5160050) thats on national backorder. I was able to do some sleuthing and was able to locate several on eBay and confirmed that these stores had them in stock. I ordered my on tuesday and had it in hand thursday.

I know Crown is making their own but I couldn't wait, just wanted to let people know there are a few kits still out there.

I will be doing my install this evening and tomorrow morning of the booster and master. Anyone think it would be beneficial for me to take some pictures and throw together a write-up?

At the moment I have just the Mopar master and booster. My booster is leaking and I needed to replace it. My Jeep is not a daily driver so I am going to install the master and booster tonight while I wait for the crown kit to be delivered. This will also be a good way to see how the factory calipers behave with the larger master and booster.

There are a few different thoughts on what is going to happen with just the master and booster with not upgrading the calipers.

Some think the pedal will be hard to push. I understand it is a larger bore which means moving more fluid, however you have a much larger, double diaphragm booster assisting.

My prediction is I wont gain much additional braking force, however I feel like my pedal travel is going to decrease quite a bit. However this is just a guess.

None the less, if it is completely undriveable, I will just park it and wait for my crown kit to get here knowing my curiosity has been resolved.

So the way the timing is working out, Iíll be running the MOPAR BBK on my stock tires for a few days, and will then add the 35Ē tires and Teraflex Rear Big Rotors at the same time. Iím not sure if that comparison is going to help anyone?

That's how I did my upgrade. Mopar BBK added on stock tires/wheels, then later moved to 35s, and new wheels. I don't want to post my experience because I don't want to bias your perspective but am interested in hearing what you say, to compare later.

Yes, and be SURE to bleed the M/C properly BEFORE install. Even with a pressure bleeder I could not get all the air out of the system. Had to yank the M/C and bench bleed it. My bad, your gain. You can get a bench bleeder kit at NAPA, etc.
