Does a cool air intake make a difference in exhaust sound?

I finally installed the magna flow exhaust, but for some reason it doesn't sound like the ones no the youtube videos, or even the sound provided by magna flow's website for this exhaust.

I am assuming the jeeps have a cool air intake or hemi/V8 or I SCREWED UP somehow during installation.

I do need to push the magna flow 1cm inward still, so could that be a significant difference in sound or is it the tightness of it?

Thanks

Yes, opening up the intake will increase the sound of your new exhaust and even with your stock exhaust still on.

A blower or turbo between the air filter and the motor will cut the noise down, though.

Thanks man!

Do you recommend any cool air intake?

There are so many from $150 to $350, which one is best if there is even any difference?
