Double Din bracket

I replaced the factory radio with an aftermarket Pioneer. It seems I must have thrown away the original bracket that held the factory radio. Now, I have a lot of trouble keeping my dash in place. I was wondering if anybody knew a part number or source to replace the bracket. I've been searching.. but so far I haven't been able to find one. Thanks for any help.

If you aren't going back to the stock headunit, it's kinda pointless, unless you really want to modify it, even then I don't think it'll fit. Most aftermarket headunits won't work with that bracket which is why it's removed and thrown away. The dash piece for the headunit should snap into place and not be loose even without that one piece. It may be loose because the trim clips broke apart when the dash was removed. The clips are white or orange and simply snap into place and hold the dash tight.

The little clip part number is 6510407AB. https://www.amazon.com/Mopar-CHRYSLE...9433096&sr=8-3

A couple options - ebay, amazon, the classified pages on this forum, local Jeep groups, local audio stores that install aftermarket parts

I wanted to retain the screw for the top of the dash so I just cut mine down and painted it.

It's one of the reasons I really liked the Kenwood unit. Didn't have to modify that bracket because the head unit was shallow enough the factory bracket didn't interfere with the install. You'd think someone on here has one of those factory brackets hanging around...

Yeah, I know a lot of people say you don't *need* it. I'm just having trouble getting everything flush and I'd love to have it back. I can't believe I threw it out in the first place... I save everything I replace.

Thanks for the advice on the clips, I'll look into them, but I'd really like to find a replacement bracket.

might run by a local auto stereo install shop and see if they have one laying around.

I did the opposite, I trimmed the top out and kept the bottom support my headunit. Made a huge improvement in how sits in the dash. I saved the top in case I want to change something
