Downloading Music

Hey guys,
I've been trying to download some music from a flash drive to the jeep hard drive on my 2012, but when I import the files they show up on the Jeep but don't play. Anyone know why?

Perhaps it's the format your using..... I have well over 300 MP3 music files transferred over off of a USB stick..... All play perfectly fine. I have a 430n radio. Make sure all of your raw files are .mp3 named at the end. If there not that's your issue. You cannot simply rename them. You would have to re-download each one over again and choose .mp3 as the download file choice....... Or use a music software converter program and convert the ones you have to .mp3 and then install them again.

you grabbing them from iTunes? A lot of music that itunes converts or purchased is in AAC format. You can look at the info/properties of the track and convert if need be.

If using iTunes a mp3 version can be created. Even if there is not a .mp3 file that may not mean its not in mp3 format. Need to look in the properties.

I've been getting it from rhapsody. I'll check to see if they're mp3.
