I just bought a 2011 Wrangler Unlimited and took the doors and roof off the first day. It's been 3 months now and it's been rained in numerous times. I like the freedom of the Jeep topless and without doors. Just wondering how bad the rain is for the electronics and overall inside of my Jeep? I keep it clean and in the garage at nite...Just wondering????
If you are going to continue to let it soak, there are 2 things I recommennd.
First pull the carpets either up or out and remove the drain plugs in the floor wells front and back. 2nd, get a cover for your steering column. It is not a good idea to let that get wet.
If you have a neighbor with an unrestored 73 CJ5 that still runs but the body is falling off, consider that this could be yours in an amazingly short time. He probably left his open to the weather too. I think they're too expensive not to take care of.

Lol...I do not live by that guy but he sounds fun! I hear ya..and I sure don't wanna rust out but just love it! That's it, I'm selling the doors on eBay
Is there any wiring or stuff that the carpet is hiding when you removed it and bedlined?
Can you post a few pics when you get it back together?
Thanks
