Dropping lift and swapping tires?

Hi, my girl just purchased an 08 wrangler sahara unlimited. The previous owner had it lifted, not sure how much though. The steering is really loose on it and I'm assuming it's because of the lift. She wants to get rid of the lift because of the steering and just because it's to high for her off the ground. I have an h3 hummer. We want to lower her jeep to its original height and put my tires on her jeep and her tires on my hummer. The jeeps tires are LT305/70R18 and the hummers tires are LT285/75R16.

My questions are
1. Can she simply just take out her lift kit to lower her jeep to its original height or does she need to buy new parts to make this happen?

2. After she drops it, will my hummer tires fit on her jeep, or will the tires she has on right now still fit after being dropped to the original height, or will she need complete different tires all together?

3. Can the steering be fixed?

I know nothing about this stuff so I would greatly appreciate any advice. Thanks
