Dumb Questions

Hi all! Me & the wife (okay the wife) just purchased a new 2017 Jeep Wrangler Willy's without power windows & door locks. We want to put in a security system and went to a place. They said they cannot add door lock actuators because the doors are too thin. Has anyone else heard this and is there a way to get around this? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks for your time.

PS - We both LOVE it!!!!:

PSS - This is my first post

I can see how there might not be room in there with the window crank mechanism.

If there's a workaround, I'm sure somebody will comment soon.

Read the thread he linked to.

It's full of guys who have added power doorlocks to 1/2 doors. Which if they fit in 1/2 doors, they'll fit in your full doors.

My point was that 1/2 doors don't have window cranks so there's more room in there than there would be with full doors and manual windows.

Don't know if it will work or not, just sayin...
