Engine upgrade options

We have 130 thousand on our 3.8 now. No issues other than burning a quart every 3K or so. When this old Caravan motor goes what are the prices for another 3.8, 5.7 Hemi or an LS? Stupid question I know bit do I need another tranny for the Hemi? Certainly the LS, I would think. Just ballpark, lookin to the future.

I will not be doing the work. Farming that nightmare out.

Thanks

Bob

It cost me $24k to have Motech do an LS3 conversion on my 2007 JKU in early 2015. Best upgrade I've ever made.

Yes, you’d need one that could handle the torque input

When you go to a hemi or LS you are gonna open the checkbook for someone to do the work. But AFTER the little guy is in the continued spending begins. driveshafts, axles and the lift to accept the 40's you can now spin will all be worth it in the end.

That's $8000 for the install kit. The motor is not included and I don't believe aev will supply that.

HemiJK supplies the entire kit with motor... about $15,000
