Falcon shocks & inner fender liner

Is anyone using a aftermarket inner fender liner that works nicely with the Teraflex Falcon 3.3 front shock reservoirs?

A handful of them do. Ace Engineering makes a set, JCR and Nemesis make a set as well. I went with Hyline with mine.

Send a message via Yahoo to dawhitesJKU
and if that doesn't work, a set of tin snips will help.

How much trimming would you have to do on the factory liner?

I'm running the 3.3s with Poison Spyder fender liners, but they take some trimming.

Pretty sure I remember not trimming mine...if you had to just put a plastic roto bit in your Dremel and buzz it off where you need it....nothing to it really....

The metal cloak inners needed just a touch of trimming.

The stock liners will overlap the adjustment knob just a little bit. The plastic liner is flexible and doesn't really interfere too much with it. If you wanted to clean it up, making an arc around the knob requires just a little bit of cutting. I didn't bother cutting mine. Now I have the ACE liners for Falcon shocks which fit great and look good.

Thank you for the replies. I took a look at the Ace and it looks like it actually covers up the cool looking Falcon shocks. Seeing how pricey the "simple" fender liners are and all seem to need modification, I guess I will probably stick with stock. Thank y'all again.

Here’s the Hylines. I painted the insert red before install. I don’t have the adjusters, yet, but you can see there’s plenty of room to access them.

I kinda like how it protects the piggy bank. But the piggy is pretty bad ass looking. So its like do the thing that is more practical vs better looking. What do you think? They advertise it works with the 3.3 how much and where did you have to cut?

Ace has several versions....he didn't buy the set for 3.3's....he bought a standard shock set first then got 3.3's and cut his liner to fit....the ones for the 3.3's you don't have to trim and they protect the ressy....

Yea, what he said.

I installed the driver liner, gave it a love tap to mark other side where adjustment knob is. I made a small cut, fit and repeat until what you see. I rounded the corners and made it pretty. I clamped it to the passenger side, marked it and made a single matching cut.
