Angry Fed up with this front end noise....help?

I have a 2010 sport. 12,000 miles. No offroading, just hiway miles. A few months ago it started "clicking" in the left front area at a slow roll and spend up according to speed. Im thinking wheel bearing. Took it to a dealer and after 3 days of them telling me they couldnt hear anything I took the mechanic with me and suddenly, they hear the noise. Another three days later a new bearing was installed and life was great....not so much. Now the thing isnt clicking, its damn near knocking from the same area. Its going back AGAIN monday but I was curious if you guys have any ideas? On a side note most times after setting a few hours, right at start-up the valve train rattles for a split second as though the oil isnt getting to the top end right away. Ofcorse this NEVER happens when its in the shop. Anyone else have this problem? Im starting to wonder if I have lemon.

You could be experiencing the "steering knock".

The start up rattle is due to a bad anti drainback valve in your oil filter. Switching oil filters should solve the issue. Use a high quality filter such as the Mopar or Fram Tough Guard filter.

It actually stops when I turn the wheel.....noise is only present going in a straight line...and as I said, speeds up accordingly as I accelerate. As far as the engine, the dealer just put a stock replacement filter and new mobile oil in 100 miles ago..if anything its more frequent. Ill mention both monday when I take it in.

Fram filters are not high quality, they're cheap junk. I can't tell you how many times a start up rattle has been fixed by ditching Fram filters.

For your front end knock, check the u-joints on the front axle for wear or misalignment. May also be brake related.

I have always used Fram filters and thought they were top notch so when I first saw this I thought you were full of it...well not so much anymore...after googling a bit I found a few interesting reads..no more Fram for me.

I used to run an auto parts store, we cut all the brands open to see the filter element.....Wix is by far the best out there unless you want to pay fpor a K&N. Fram is basically a can with a few inches of pleated paper.
