Few questions from a newbie /with pics :-)

Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum and Jeep. I just got my baby this past weekend. I've been on the forum for a little while researching things before I purchased. It has the premium leather and I'm wondering what everyone recommends using for detailing, inside and outside. On the inside I want to keep that new leather smell so nothing with a lot of odor unless it's the leather smell. On the outside I've noticed the black shows water marks easily, is there anything I can use on that?

Any other tips/tricks I need to know?

I also just wanted to say I feel so welcomed by other Jeep owners. Driving down the road Jeeps wave at each other and even gotten a few from trucks. ? Here's some pictures of my Jeep.

Mothers makes some nice leather cleaner and protector. IM sure they also have something to shine up the black plastic. All of which can be found at your local auto parts stores

Nice looking jeep man. I've not noticed one leather cleaner/conditioner to be any better than the other. My jeep doesn't have leather, but the wife's car does. I use Meguiars because i've always used their products and had good luck with them.

You can expect the black plastic to start fading in a few months, starting with the hood latches. Soon after that your bumpers will fade. My mirrors seem to be holding up pretty good for what ever reason. I use tire wet on my plastic and that really brings the deep black back out.

As far as advice with the jeep in general, before you go balls out buying up mods for it, drive it a while stock. Take it down a few trails, unhook the sway bars, enjoy it in it's current form. The things you need will present themselves to you.

I use Aerospace 303 on the black interior/exterior trim. On leather I use Weiman's leather cleaner, has a nice smell & cleans/softens the leather.

Mothers and Meguiars also make great products.

I use Zano Leather Cleaner (Zaino Store : Z-9 Leather Soft Spray Cleaner) for the leather on my '09 Jaguar XF.. After over 6 years, people STILL get into my Jag and say "wow, it smells brand new" .. I dont know if the cleaner cleans any better than anything else, but it has a slight 'leather' smell that is awesome.
