For folks ordering a 2014, are you paying MSRP??

Hi,

Yet another 2014 JEEP question, but this one is good.

Some folks have mentioned ordering a 2014 on June 11th (or near that time frame), with an expected delivery date of Aug/Sept.

If you're ordering it within the next few weeks, do you expect to pay full MSRP? I'm just trying to guage the wiggle room available to us, when they are not even available at dealerships.

I'm debating placing an order for the anvil color, but I'm not willing to pay full msrp. Soon, we should start "what are you paying for a 2014?" thread.

THANKS

Tread Lightly discount guarantees at least 1% under invoice. I'd start there if I were you...no one pays MSRP.

Tread Lightly – Individual

Good luck!

Pat will give you a WF discount and TL discount all below invoice on an order, then you get into any applicable rebates such as military etc......This is what I did when I ordered my 12'.

You should be able to get an idea of what the invoice pricing is based on the 2014 Information Thread. All invoice pricing is in parenthesis. This should give you enough information to haggle a price below that point.

My dealer is offering me 3.5% under invoice (the full 2% that Jeep gives the dealer for an Affiliate Rewards purchase + half of the 3% holdback). And he has a soft top that another customer didn't want that bought a Jeep off the lot that came with dual top group so he's throwing that in also which I figure is worth $700-800. And $199 doc fee. No trade in.

Please add your dealer fees such as processing/documentation (e.g. hidden dealer profit). When you factor in those fees, the X% under invoice may not be what you're really getting.

That's a good deal. That top retails for $1600 through the dealer. I got 3.9% below invoice on a 10A and it was a fair price.

"Arturo22", I just sent you a PM. I hope you don't mind sharing some additional information.

LOL...
No need for PM's (unless you want that specific dealer), Pat was kind enough to put all of the information on the Affiliated pricing program on this site in his own section.

Great point. Don't pay a $hit-ton for any of the BS doc fees, weather protection fees, etc. Some states make the dealers charge the same amount to every customer for these fees, so simply ask them to subtract it from the price. I ended up paying $100 is fees b/c I was tired of "walking out" to get the other BS fees removed.
