Gobi rack & rear bumper - which?

I have a 2013 JKUR with a Gobi Stealth rack. I want to put an aftermarket rear bumper and tire carrier on it next. Does anyone have a similar setup? Which bumper did you go with and why? Any input is appreciated.

Gobi me 2

We are going down the same path but you got the rack first and I got the bumper. Ha. On the Gobi website it has a pretty good list of bumpers that work and I think some require adapters of one sort or another. If you have a favorite bumper, I'd check there or call them.

I decided to order an Olimpic smuggler bumper in the DIY version. As an outlander type jeep, a rear winch makes sense if you run solo like I tend to. Just try finding info on rear winch bumpers... Not a lot out there. I also didn't want a separate latch (rattle!!) for the tire carrier. So I went with teraflex hinge/carrier. I love it! Solid, no rattle or wiggle and keeps the 3rd brake light.

So how is the Gobi? I haven't liked any other racks as much... Until yesterday. Have you seen the Front Runner? Some info... FRONT RUNNER JEEP EXTREME ROOF RACK - YouTube
Just have to figure out the soft top option...

Good luck,

'13 JKUR just arrived 2/12/13. Let the project begin!

curious how is the diy Olympic ?? I was thinking same idea in case I want to add small rear winch - using mechanical advantage to rig a 3 to 1 i could use say 2500lb this could easily keep cost lower and weight. wanting a full width bumper that will wrap and protect gobi mounts behind rear tire . wire will be smaller gauge and less expensive also.
i currently run Gobi Rack and teraflex carrier

That Front Runner is definitely beefy. I am very happy with the Gobi though. Extremely well built, quality all the way. I have already loaded it up and used it.
I'm just trying to pair it with something I like. So far I like the new Ace rear bumper the most, but there is no info about whether it will work with the Gobi.

I may just end up building one myself, but that would have to wait for fall. Too hot to be welding in the garage this time of year in AZ!
