Gps/bluetooth/backup cam for under $500

Just finished installing a Jensen vx-7022 head unit to replace my 130 no connectivity factory system. Just wanted to share a quick review for anyone looking at this head unit:
Sound: I have the Alpine speaker system and the Jensen really wakes up the speakers. It also shows they're a little weak at higher volumes, so new speakers are now next on the list.
Interface: a little dated and clunky navigating the different options, the startup is slow, but nothing too horrible. Limited colors/backgrounds although there are instructions for uploading custom images.
Bluetooth: works flawlessly and was pleasantly surprised how clear the mic picks up given its mounted to the sun visor just an inch from the softtop. Also allows Bluetooth streaming but it's very basic and controlled via the phone.
Nav: the iGo interface is different from any other I've used, but so far it seems completely functional and even offers some 3D topography views (accuracy not verified). It has quite a few options for route choices (can even include 'unpaved' roads) and a decent amount of poi's.
SiriusXM: pretty much the same as any other...
Dvd: picture is crisp and movies play flawless
Backup camera: crisp picture and image reversing capable

A unique backup camera. Found the camera mounted in this receiver hitch for $45 on eBay. Not for everyone but it works for my needs

Nice. Does it work with your factory steering controls, and did that require an adapter?

It does use a PAC adapter...works for the volume and channel buttons on the back of the steering (only buttons I have)

I've been looking at this unit also- nice to see a review! I'd be all over it if it supported HD radio, and played lossless audio formats.

Are you using the head unit to power your speakers, or are you using the Alpine amp?

Factory amp. Still surprised at the difference in sound! I've always been a Pioneer guy, but they stopped putting volume knobs on their hu's...thought I'd give the Jensen a shot. After 2 days, pretty happy with it other than the slow startup time

I have read you only get one free update with the nav, and that it's still a bit out of date. Let us know if your nav seems pretty accurate once you've used it a bit. Seems like it's def a good buy for the $.

So far it's been great. I did the free update, but don't live in an area where there's a lot of road changes. My 2014 2 door came with the factory Nav, and there was a major bypass that wasn't on it that was built in 2010...it is on the Jensen
I'll update it after a few weeks of use, but so far it's accurate!
