Half doors on rear only on jku?

Anyone have pictures of a jku with half doors in rear and full in front?

Never seen it. Never heard of anyone doing it. Probably because it would look weird. Post pics up if you go for it though.

I run with my full backdoors on quite regularly. Yeah it looks funny but the kiddo falls asleep in the backseat and I feel better this way.

I sometimes run my uppers in the front only with the freedom panels on, rear has the half doors but no uppers. Makes it look a little truck-like. I'll get a pic next time I go that route. I know it's not the same as full fronts and half back, but close.

I can show you the opposite of what you are requesting, LOL!

Just to be clear, never drove like that, just took a photo of the door swapping process half way into it....

If you look at the Pope mod picture and zoom in you can see that it has half rear doors. The door handles are painted body color. To me it makes it look like a JK8!

This, while not exactly what you specified, might help you visualize.

I'm interested in this set up as well. Always wanted a truck and half doors on the back with a hard deck from the tailgate to the back of the front seat would have that truck look.

My thoughts exactly.....I was like, that is going to look weird, but then I saw the pics and don't hate them.

Yeah, I thought about going with this set up also. Here is a thread I started. https://www.wranglerforum.com/f274/ha...nt-259487.html Think there are some pics with that door configuration.

I am happy with my half doors and don't plan on buying a set of front full doors. Especially once my half door glass sliders are installed.

I love running with my front doors off and rear doors on though. Think it has a really clean look and makes me feel a little better with kids in the backseat.

I forgot to mention. The only thing that would bother me with this setup is that the door handles would not be lined up. You can see how the full door handles are a little higher than the rear half doors.
Other than that I really like the setup. But I would never trade my front half doors for full doors.

1+ WebDevDan -- I thought of buying the OEM half doors and running them during mid-Fall through mid-April here in hot @$$ Houston......

Looks terrific without door handles!!!

There are some awesome combos with half doors in the back! Never would have thought about that.

Someone around me has a white JKU with a soft top, front full doors, and rear half doors. It looks like a miniature troop carrier, pretty neat. Don't have a pic though.
