harken hoister pigtail lag screw install question

Hey guys, i purchased a harken hoister and am thinking of installing it this weekend when i have some free time. I was looking over the directions and everything seems straight forward except where to install the pigtail lag screws. I see it says to use a plum bob which makes sense. I see where rear pigtail screws would go, but im not sure about the front ones ( closest to the garage door). Would i mount the pigtail screws at the blue arrow( the item width) or at the green arrow. Im not entirely sure why they have the outer plum line. (blue arrow)

I attached a pic

Thanks guys!

It's the line with the green arrow pointing towards it. For the JKU top, the front locations will line up just to the inside of the corners of the top.

Thats what i thought also. Thanks! The only reason i was confused was because the next diagram says to use the objects width and that would be the blue arrow, but that seems to wide!

Yeah, the hoist is not specifically intended to be used just for lifting Jeep tops, hence the wording "the object" in the instructions. Your instinct was correct, for lifting the top you want to line up with the corners.
