While I know we’re never really done modifying our Jeeps, I thought it would be cool to see some pics and a build list to give the rest of us some inspiration. Thanks!

Those are specific types, was thinking more general to see a wider variety than just Granite, Gobi, etc. Thanks for your link, though.

I "Finished" mine yesterday.

2013 10A, bought stock. Added a bunch of Inspired Engineering lights, security compartments, a Winch, and yesterday put on some 295/70r17 tires.

Oh, hm. I still want an SPOD. Nevermind.

TF 3" sport lift
1.25" body lift
Falcon 3.3 shocks
Sota wheels with Wrangler MT/r Kevlar tires
Bumper, 10500lb winch wireless remote
Amp research power steps
Adjustable air lumbar support drivers seat
Dasaita head unit 100w x 4 channel pioneer amp, 700W subwoofer
Lockers are converted to a manual override system

All done myself with no outside help.
I don't think there is anything else I want to do to it. Although I am doing a bit more upgrading on the sound system and I do have a spare 2000lb winch in the shed. I may dig that out and mount it somewhere on the rear.... maybe a custom bumper mount.... but that's pretty much it

4 years in and not even close to being done! I upgrade parts as they start limiting me or get bent.

So far:
  • Rock Krawler X-Factor 2.5" lift
  • Falcon 3.1 shocks
  • Hard Rock 4x4 skid plates
  • Poison Spyder front bumper and fenders
  • Other assorted armor (Poison Spyder, AEV, ACE)
  • Synergy chromolly drag link and SFR aluminum tie rod
  • Tom Woods front driveshaft
  • Winch
  • 35" tires

Onboard air, a rear bumper and tire carrier are next.
But the end game will be regearing, trussing the axles, chromolly axle shafts and going to 37" or 38" tires.

Love the Pitbull, been running them since 2011. Awesome in the snow, but if it’s real icy they are like any other non ice tire.. Rotate them often and they wear nice and get decent mileage.
They are a bit noisy on the highway but then any good aggressive tire will be. The noise is a sign that they have a tread pattern that works.

I would have to say I am very close. I have done the following:

Smitty bumper on the front.
Champion 10000 lb winch with synthetic winch line.
Replaced the 9045 fog light bulbs with 9011 65w bulbs.
Added mesh grille insert.
Cibie H4 lamps with Hella 90-130 bulbs.
Hella driving lights wired into the high beam circuit.
Superchips Flashpaq running 87 tune with 89 octane gas.
Q-tech diver down neoprene seat covers.
Seat heaters between the seat covers and the stock seats.
Bedrug carpeting
Pioneer AVH-4200NEX stereo.
Shift lever from a later TJ with a 15oz shift knob
285-75-17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on stock painted rims.
Replaced the rusty oem rock rails with RedRock rocker guards.
Replaced the rusty gas tank skid with Rough Country skid.
Evo 1087 manual smartbar control.
AEV Procal to turn the Smartbar sensor off
1.5" wheel spacers.
Q-tech leveling kit.
Barricade rear bumper with single action tire carrier.

Not sure if I want to do anything else. Jeep is at 157k and still running strong.

Being around the car/truck/bike scene for sometime now and normally by the time you "Finish" your current project your tastes change and want something totally different.
Well thats if you aren't independently wealthy and have $200-400k to blow.

Mine will be done when I sign the pink and hand the keys to the next owner. I keep thinking of all the money I am saving by not buying a new JL.
