Has anyone tried Rex?

I'd be interested in hearing more about this. It's an interesting idea anyway.

I saw that a while back and it seems like it was crazy expensive. If it were not cost prohibitive it would be a cool suspension.

Quite interesting.... I can't even find a price tag for the kit. I wonder if it was a one hit wonder idea that never really took off?

15k is nothing when you take into consideration the money you save on not having to up grade axles or housings... You don't even need D44s.

Knuckles can be re-enforced.

My guess is they couldn't get production cost down enough to make a serious go of it, because I don't see any signs it actually hit the market.... but yeah.. you're probably talking 15K anyway.

Looks like a nightmare! You quadruple the failure points, proprietary components that will be huge $$$ to replace and possible support issues from a company located in Israel that may or may not exist in a year. Not to mention it is in the West Bank and has directions that include "Near the Historic Water Tower". Add to this the expense of the kit to begin with and it isn't a real mystery as to why there isn't a lot of these out there. There are a ton of independent suspended vehicles out there and it seems to me that they do great in high speed desert racing but lack something in the low speed rock crawling or trails that a lot of Jeeps seem to excel at? But, let me add this disclaimer... I have never wheeled an independent suspended vehicle either.

If it's painted bright yellow, it's got to be awesome. Nothing like buying a suspension and being a traveling billboard for the company you bought it from.

I could see 10-15k for a fully independent setup, but the way they did the diff setup is a little strange to me with the portals on either side. Seems like another failure point. Also, those rear shafts would get KILLED in the rocks! This is more likely for the desert runner than rock crawler for that simple reason.

Not much worse than the plethora of stickers I see on the back of JKs, brodozers, even family Camrys...

Yep, some tend to like that stuff. Typically it leans more towards the preferences of the 18-32 y/o crowd. I used to be in that demographic, now I prefer leaning more towards keeping a lower profile. If I wanted it, the 1st thing I would do is rattle can it black.

They probably only did the hi-viz paint to show it off. If you drop that much cheez you should have your choice of colors.
I'd make mine the color of our local clay.
