Help- How to use AEV Procal

Hey all.

I just opened the Procal box, went straight to the instructions, and now I'm feeling more confused than ever.

So I ordered it along with new wheels and tires- everything has arrived. I just want it for the bigger tire size. But this thing has so many features and the instructions, while straight forward, don't tell you what happens once you set a specific combo of the little switches.

How will I know when it worked? or if it worked correctly. If I set the switches to adjust for the tires, but then want to set switches for another feature, is that going to mess with any programming done for the tire size? Am I just overthinking all of this?

Would appreciate some advice from those of you that have used one.

The horn will blow when the setting has worked. If you set the tire size and in a few days decide to try daytime running lights or sound other feature, it will not override your tire size. Each function is a certain setting of the switches.

Your overthinking

The instructions on how to change tire size is there.

Set the switches to your tire size and then turn the key to ON but not running, plug in the procal if the horn beeps twice it is all done, turn off key and remove procal.

If you want to do more programming then just reset the switches to the new function and turn key ON insert procal and horn should beep twice and then turn off...….. repeat for anything else you want to do.

everytime you set something with the procal it stays that way in the computer until you change it again

What they said....

You can only set one thing at a time. Each setting will stay till you change it again.

The first three pins select the feature you are adjusting. The rest of the pins set the configuration for that feature.

When you set the tire size, remember to round down not up.

Also, remember to turn the power off after setting the configuration and then remove the ProCal

What they said... I just set my tire size and tpms setting yesterday with the procal. Power is back, speedo dead on, tire light is off. Only took a few minutes and was a breeze to do. I love you AEV Procal!
