Not a fan of the top. Don't really like the sloping at the back. The bumper kicks ass though.

I'm sure whichever you decide to get, you'll be very happy. I need a new top, so if it were me, I'd get the top. But, that's just me. That bumper looks dope though!

I love my bumper and got mine first but have to say, I get more use out of the Trektop NX. Best investment I ever did. I love the versatility. Hate Bestop but love the top. I vote for the top especially since it's summer and a Jeep and Summer with the top down is what it's all about.

Soft top for now and do a stubby on your stock bumper for about 30 bucks then you have a nice top and a modded bumper till you get the one you want.

Top and $65 stubby bumper kit. Best of both worlds.

I'd have to agree. The stubby kit is a quick inexpensive fix to having that wide stock bumper. And you can always look on craiglist for the top. My soft top came off a brand new jeep that someone got with the dual top option for $500. The deals like that are out there, just have to look for them.

You asked for everyone's opinion, and everyone has a different one. Enjoy which ever decision you make, Zach. It's going to be a fun ride anyway you do it.

Didn't expect it to be split down the middle and I know I'll eventually get both it's just a matter of which one first

True, but like Rick said, it is summer now. I guarantee you'll get more enjoyment out of the top first. I have mine down all the time for the most part, except it's starting to look like monsoon season here, so it's gonna stay up for a bit. Otherwise, she's always topless!

I'll chime in again. The top won't differentiate your Jeep from the thousands of others out there as much as the bumper will. I see tons of jeeps, they all have tops - soft or hard. Very few of them have different bumpers than the stock bumper they came with.

As a driver who checks out other Jeeps all the time, I look at bumpers, lights, lifts, etc. I rarely notice a top.

Just my .02

This too. We got a top from a guy that had dual top option on Craigslist. $500 for everything. Parts were still in the box and the top was still wrapped from being under the hard top

buy both, THAT should be an voting option

I have the NX top and the nice thing about it is comes complete with all the hardware! if you only have a hardtop then you need all that stuff. also for 583.55 NEW you can't beat the price. Bad thing is they are VERY hard to find IN STOCK. so if you want it today a bumper may be your best purchase.

It's SUMMER! Get the top now, and make the bumper a Christmas present to yourself. Gives u something to look forward too! The top will be used regularly all summer. The bumper, which looks awesome, is mainly for appearance unless you need it's advantage for wheeling frequently.

Seems like you'd get more use out of the trek top at this point (summer)...no? I mean, the bumper is pretty, but let's face it, taking the hard top off every time you wanna go topless is a bit of a PITA compared to a soft top.
