Hope it's not the clockspring...airbag light woes

So, owned the jeep for just over two weeks now...

I'm really hoping it's not the clockspring. Basically driving around in wet weather, airbag light starts going on and off every few minutes.

It's a 2009 JK, and I took a couple of photos under the front seats to try and see if there's anything loose.

Driver Side

Passenger Side

Anyone see anything odd looking? Is there any connector I can clean to see if there is dirt creating issues?

I know that the passenger seat belt might have been replaced as the pretensioner was glitchy.

help

Mine goes back to the dealer next week. At less than 200 miles the air bag light started staying on constantly. According to the dealer it's a bad sensor in the seatbelt and they have to replace the entire assembly rather than just the sensor. Somehow the seatbelts are tied into the airbag system. Parts finally came in and now they're waiting for me.

Seatbelts lock down on airbag deployment on most cars. Its part of the srs system

If you lived near me id offer to pull the codes. I have a can bus diagnostics scanner

What makes you think its the clock spring? It could be anything.

I'm kind of hoping that it is the air bag sensor in the seat belt since the belt was replaced/looked at before buying the car. Any idea is there is a replacement cost estimate for it?

Did you just buy this? I would tell them they have to fix it. If that seat belt was replaced it should be under its own warranty.

Where do you live? Im in st joseph mi id pull your codes for ya...and nothing else, im a busy guy. But i love pulling codes for people, and the parts stores cant pull airbag codes.

I wonder if its the other seatbelt by the way....lol....
