Talking How many Jeeps do you have?

I bought my first Wrangler in 2015, and recently got another one and it got me curious...how many Jeeps would a Jeep owner keep if a Jeep owner could keep Jeeps?

How many Jeeps do you have? currently and total.

Do you mod them all?

Do they all have different purposes?

2. Wife has a JKU, I have a JK.

We may end up with another JKU as my dd, since I've molded my JK so much.

There has never been a time in the last 43 years that I have not owned a Jeep. Right now we have two Jeeps. My wife has a 2017 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk, and I have a 2017 Wrangler Rubicon Recon. We have had a lot of Jeeps over the years, with my first Jeep being purchased when I was 14 years old, in 1974; it was a 1961 CJ-5. I'm not going to try to count them all, but there have been several CJs, YJs, TJs, and JKs. And several ZJs, WJs, WKs, and WKIIs. There was even an XJ and a KJ in there. My favorite is the one I have now, but with a 2004 TJ being a very close second.

We have 3... my wife's '12 JKU, my daughters '11 JK and my other daughters '08 Commander. My Equinox will become a JK once it's no longer a "work" vehicle.

Do you have a favorite out of all the Wranglers/CJ's you've had?

I really like the GC Trailhawks, I was looking at them, then they stopped offering the EcoDiesel

I think we need to add another metric - a density measure: (Number of jeeps in household) / (number people in the household)

I am single, live alone with two jeeps => a density of 2/person !

The TJ keeps me out of trouble ( or keeps me in - depending on your point of view ! ).

The TJ has been great ! I bought it used for 10K with 40,000 miles in 2007. I have a mountain home where I have always kept it. All the other residents bought gators, Polaris, Kawasaki UTVs etc and most are on the 2cd or 3rd one ! They have to keep fuel in their garages, trailer it for maintenance .... I have had no trouble and can drive to town, gas up etc ... I just need to deal with inspection and insurance.

I have a firm limit of 1 Jeep at a time. Otherwise I don't know which one to spend money on.

Total going back aways...... yikes.

16 Jeeps. We've been good for each other.
