I'm painting inside my hard top

So had a little accident and my insurance is paying for a new hard top. I have decided to have the body shop paint it hydro blue inside and out. I like the white myself but the finger prints every time I take it off and on are really annoying. So I wanted to see some pics of body color inside hard tops?

Well, since my body color is already white, I went the other way.

Wow WRX1... The insulation makes a huge difference.
I painted mine black with Krylon Satin Black rattle can and I thought it looks good, but I would def add whatever you did to smooth the inside of the panels.

That is the hotheads headliner with the sound strips. Then I used some undercoating spray to paint it all. Sound wise, it made a huge difference and even temp wise I can tell that it helps. I am hoping to get the rest of the top done over thanksgiving weekend.

WRX1, that looks fantastic! I always thought painting the inside of the top would be a good mod. It' high up on my list if/when I get a JK/JL.

I just taped everything off carefully. Sanding was key. Especially on the smooth surface areas. Used 4 cans to do everything.

@Hydropolar , that looks very nice! When I read your original thread I though, "Man, that's gonna be a lot of blue!" But with the liners, it looks quite nice. Good job!
