Inner Fender Liners WITHOUT Lift

Okay, now I will probably still be a noob no matter how long I've owned my Jeep. I'm planning on upgrading my fender flares though I haven't narrowed it down to which ones yet. Is it possible to have inner fender liners WITHOUT a lift? The ones I am looking at call for an “elevated modification”. Isn't that cute. Are they all like that?

Those Ace were a sweet deal right now.

I do not think liners will effect you at all without a lift, in fact if you add larger tires later it will probably keep you from having to trim the OEM liners

Wow that's an amazing price!! They look great. Do you have a pic of them installed yet?

These are ones I've been checking out recently because, of course, that light:

Those MAIKERS look sweet!

I wanted solid inner sections, so I chose the Artec brand that was on sale this weekend at Northridge. Downside, is I have to paint them black. I am getting ready for a major revision on the Jeep looks with MCE Fenders, larger tires and the fender liners, so it will take a bit to get it done.

I just wish I could use those Maikers without a lift. Sigh.

I've seen a lot of people talking about the MCE fenders on here recently. You made a great choice. Don't rush the perfection. They say "good things come to those who wait". Aww screw that, I WANT IT NOW! There's my motto. I'm really like a 5 year old. My Jeep is my big girl toy. Can't wait to see pics when done! ETA on completion?

Maybe I missed something reading the reviews, it looks like you can use them without a lift. It appears the emblem may not stand out as much.

Hopefully by the end of the month.

MCE Fenders are here
Artec Liners should arrive today
Wheels should be here this week
Impatiently waiting for the black Friday sale on tires

I really can't think of a reason any inner fender can't be installed without a lift....

There should be no reason why you can't run inner fenders without a lift. All they are doing is replacing the stock inners.

Now, for those lighted ones, you might not be able to see the logo well without a lift but that doesn't mean they won't work.

Like people said, you can use inner fenders with no lift but you wont be able to see it much. I have the Dv8 inners and I get a lot of people asking about them. Personally, if I could do it again I would buy the ace. The 2 piece design was annoying and I had to do a lot of "modifications" to keep mine from rattling. Some trimming, bending and even added black gorilla tape in areas where metal on metal was happening.

It says it as a note below the description:

Note:
Elevated modification must be done to install these inner fenders. Minor drilling and additional clearance may be required for oversized tires.

Do you think they wouldn't be that visible even with tubular fender flares?

I don't run those, so I don't know for sure. But stock you have fender liners (plastic). Most fender liners are basically a metal version of the stock liners, and as such would fit in place of the stock liners regardless of lift. But that cool light up logo would not be very visible with a tire in the way.
However, it is odd they would say it needs a lift for clearance issues and not for visibility issues.

The Evo liners I have look cool and should work without a lift. They don't include lights, but you could add them and they do have a cool logo that would look sweet back-lit

With non-oem flares, I bet you could see them just fine.

It is after all Amazon and the holiday season. If you hate them for any reason at all you can send them back. If you love em, order em. Then install in a 30 day window of receipt.

I checked out those EVO's. You're right, that is a cool logo. My husband could get those backlit for me no problem. I'll have to make a couple apple pies to get him to do it.
