Just bought our new JKU

so me and my girl are so pumped that we finally brought home our new ride.
we are so new to the offroading scene, but im pretty sure her and i will fit in great, we adore the outdoors.
and this leads me to asking a few questions as i don't know where to start.

so maybe as my first question, i have a list of things i want to do to the jeep,
-50" led lightbar
-front bumper upgrade from the oem
-winch with synthetic rope
-front and rear lockers
-4"(maybe 3") lift kit with the 8 arm setup as from my reading seems to be the best.
-35" tires
-Fox shocks ?
-id like to see full under body protection. or as much as possible(if it'll help save me from breaks and damages)
-a good soft top if you guys have one to recommend
-tailgate table
-mount pressurized air & water quick disconnect to jeep

think starting with a 50" led light bar would be a decent upgrade.
and how about these aftermarket cold air intakes, worth the money/performance. ?

hope to hear what you guys think.

p.s. are our stock at tires good for this winter ?

Welcome! I would highly recommend reading through the sticky threads and using the search function.

so maybe as my first question, i have a list of things i want to do to the jeep,
-50" led lightbar: they are cool but I've heard more than my fair share of people getting their lightbars stolen. You'll know you're community but i don't put $1k out there on a light.
-front bumper upgrade from the oem: go for something good! There's a big thread of bumpers
-winch with synthetic rope: synthetic or not...don't cheap out. Get a Warn
-front and rear lockers
-4"(maybe 3") lift kit with the 8 arm setup as from my reading seems to be the best. : I love my 3.5" RK lift...your options will be driven by budget
-35" tires: depending on if it's a DD or not...Toyo MT or Duratracs are great options
-Fox shocks ?: check out rancho 9000s. Also, this will depend on how sensitive you are to roughness
-id like to see full under body protection. or as much as possible(if it'll help save me from breaks and damages): I have rock hard oil/tranny and it's awesome. Im gonna get their gas tank skid eventually
-a good soft top if you guys have one to recommend: bestop. I have the twill which is really nice and quieter than sailcloth
-tailgate table: checkout springtail solutions..love mine!

My sport S tires did just fine in the ice storms we got here
Put some recommendations in there.

Welcome to the club! That's a serious list of mods you got there. Think about the lift, you don't need to go 4" to fit 35" tires. Much over 2-1/2" and you need a bunch of other mods. Good luck and enjoy!

thanks for the fast responses, i will definitely look into the sticky's,
HRP, you said that 2-21/2" would be enough, what kind of clearance would i get with obstacles with that kind of lift ?
also any brands that are reputable for lifts ?
