OK guys, what's the secret to unplugging the immobilizer? I've tried for two hours and it won't budge. I'm afraid I'm going to break it. I've used vise-grip needle nose pliers after my fingers hurt so bad I couldn't use them. The plug won't move at all.

I had to get a cheap flat head screwdriver from the dollar store and bend it 1/2 " down from the tip at a 45 degree angle with my bench vice.

Make sure you're only pulling on the part that actually comes out of the socket. For a while I was grabbing too much plastic and it would not budge.
I used my left hand to reach under and push the tab and a pair needle nose pliers to gently remove the plug... that way I was only grabbing the removable part.

Did you ever get a chance to install the '15 cover?? I found one from Morris 4x4 that I think is the right part.

So I am having major issues with my remote start. I bought the extended range.

It works about a third of the time.

The other third it doesnít register at all, I push the button and nothing registers.

The last third the Jeep tries for a split second to turn over but then it doesnít.

All the wiring looks good, Anderson electronics wired everything together for me so I have no idea what the issues is.

Any thoughts?

I finally got mine hooked up. I tested it and it worked. As soon as I put everything back together and pulled out of the garage, turned off the Jeep, tried it and nothing. I have a red LED flashing on my dash now. The ket still starts but the remote doesn't. I emailed Scott hoping he has an idea why it doesn't work.

Well, not having any luck at all. I removed it. I emailed Scott and havenít heard from him yet. I guess heís off today and probably well deserved. Iíll update this post after I hear from Scott and get it working

8:30 pm EST. Scott emailed and said I may have inadvertently unplugged something or have a wire end touching some. Iíll try again tomorrow night

Did you get this figured out? Are you sure you have good connections? Did you make sure nothing can short together on the unused wires?

Just installed remote start for only 99 bucks!

My post is too old to edit:

I checked my harness today and found the small black plug that goes into the unit was unplugged. I unplugged everything and started from scratch. It worked fine both in my garage and out. The only thing I noticed was my red LED over my temp gauge now blinks as though my alarm is set after I lock my doors. The only issue is, I donít have an alarm. Oh well. Iíll give another update after a few days to make sure itís working.

I used a couple you tube install videos to help me. I donít have a link but they were the first videos when I searched google.

Ps. Scott from Anderson Electronics has been absolutely great responding to emails with questions. A++ business and customer service

@Mike-Mike

Thabks fot the tip on tmobile syncup drive, i use it to give me a confirmation that my trip has started, indicating that the car turned on. I'm measuring the idle time outside. I should get an update shortly after 15 minutes that my trip has ended.

Now with a bit of experience, you have the basic evo module or using extended rf?

Disconnected it or still on jeep? I would try and do another sync but remove all connectors then add the power 4 pin, turn on acc, then connect all the other connectors and then complete pairing.

I got it working. One of the plugs came out when I was tucking it under the dash. It works fine now

Works awesome. Had an issue with 1 remote that Scott is handling. 2nd remote is flawless. Notified me the vehicle was started from inside the airport the other say. Money very well spent on the 2-way.
